This joint petition is filed on behalf of the parties under Section 29A
(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal for a period of three months.

It is stated in the petition that the period of 12 months from the date of completion of the proceedings before the learned Arbitral Tribunal expired on 23.06.2024, which was extended by a period of six months upto 23.12.2024, with the mutual consent of the parties. Mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was further extended by this Court in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 976/2024, on a joint application filed by the parties upto 30.06.2025 vide order dated 18.12.2024. It is stated that award has been reserved by the Arbitral Tribunal and a period of three months is required for passing the arbitral award.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of three months from 01.07.2025. 6.
