CORAM:
HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE INDERMEET KAUR
O R D E R
% 09.02.2018 Petitioner is seeking anticipatory protection. FIR No. 20/2018 has been registered under Sections 394/397/452 r/w section 34 of the IPC as also under Sections 27/54/59 of the Arms Act at PS Mandawli. The complainant is one Om Prakash on whose statement the FIR has been registered. The detail and the manner in which the incident had occurred has been explained in the FIR. Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that she has not been named in the FIR and her name has surfaced only for the first time in the disclosure statement of the co-accused who is even not known to the petitioner. Per contra, learned counsel for the State informs this court that apart from the role of the petitioner having been unfolded in the disclosure statement of co-accused Sajjan Sharma, there is an audio clip which has been retrieved in which the petitioner has told one
Purshottam that she was involved in this crime and that audio clip had been sent by Purshottam to the complainant. The offence is serious. No ground is made out for anticipatory protection. Dismissed.
