O R D E R

% 29.10.2025 Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the matter has been settled between the parties for an amount of Rs.3,00,000. Out of the said amount, a cheque for an amount of Rs. 50,000/- has been handed over to the respondent by the petitioner during the proceedings. The balance amount of Rs. 2,50,000/- has been deposited in this Court pursuant to order dated 22.12.2021. In accordance with the terms of the Settlement Agreement, the petitioner is entitled to withdraw the said amount alongwith interest.

It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent that the name of the respondent has been misspelt in the Writ Petition and therefore, when the cheque is issued, the name of the respondent may be correctly spelled as 'Israr Hussain'.

The Registry is, accordingly, directed to do the needful. The petition is disposed of in terms of the settlement and the Settlement Agreement shall be taken on record.

In view of the above, the date already given i.e., 13.02.2026 shall stand cancelled.
