% 09.02.2018 Parties have settled their disputes. Petitioners are seeking quashing of the present FIR being FIR No. 174/2017 registered at PS Sarita Vihar under Sections 498A/406/34 of the IPC. Parties have been married for 11 years; they have two children born out of their wedlock. Petitioner No. 1 is a resident of Dubai. Parties had a bone of contention for a short period of time. But now they have joined the company of one another. Respondent No. 2 joined her husband on 18.01.20188. Both the parties i.e., petitioner No. 1 and respondent No. 2 are present in person and they state that the present proceedings be quashed as they are now living comfortably and happy in the company of one another. The presence of the parties is identified by

their respective counsel as also by the investigating officer. They propose to go back to Dubai today itself.

Noting the above narration of facts, it is a fit case where the prayer made in the petition should be granted. Accordingly, to secure the ends of justice, the present FIR No.174/2017 registered at PS Sarita Vihar under Sections 498A/406/34 of the IPC and all proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition disposed of in the above terms.
