This is a petition filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) To issue the writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other writ(s) / direction(s) /order(s) in the like nature.

(ii) Direct, Respondent No.1 i.e., State (NCT of Delhi) to transfer the investigation in the present F.I.R by way of appointing the appropriate investigating i.e., Central Bureau of Investigation for conducting a free and fair investigation.

(iii) Direct Respondent No. 2 and Respondent No. 3 i.e., the Commissioner of Police and the Deputy Commissioner of Police respectively to conduct a departmental inquiry against delinquent police officers i.e., Respondent No. 4 and Respondent No.5. (iv) Direct the Ld. Trial Court to expedite the trial in the present F.I.R without any further delay."

Mr. Sanjeev Bhandari, learned Additional Standing Counsel, on instructions, states that without adverting to and admitting the allegations made in the petition that the investigation is not being conducted fairly, the investigation will be carried out under the aegis and supervision of the concerned DCP.

In view of the assurance given by learned ASC on behalf of the State that further investigation will be conducted under the aegis of DCP concerned and will be monitored and supervised by him, no further order is required to be passed in the present petition. 4.

Petition is disposed of with liberty to the Petitioner to take recourse to the remedies available in law, in case of any further grievance.
