After arguments, this appeal is disposed of as not pressed in view of the judgment of the Supreme Court in the case of S.S. Shetty Vs. Bharat Nidhi Limited, AIR 1958 SC 12, which holds that even if a contract of private services is illegally terminated, at best a person will be entitled to damages being the salary for the notice period, and admittedly there is no dispute that salary for the notice period has been given to the appellant.

The appeal and the pending applications are accordingly disposed of as not pressed.
