O R D E R

The present petition has been filed by the petitioners, inter alia, seeking directions to the respondents to issue a renewed passport in favour of the minor child of the petitioner no.1 i.e. petitioner no.2, namely Khoyrika Gupta. 2.

Learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent no.1 submits that a decision has been taken to issue the requisite passport in favour of the petitioner no.2 in terms of the extant guidelines. It is further submitted that the passport is in the process of being printed and the same will be duly dispatched to the petitioner in due course.

The aforesaid statement is taken on record.

Accordingly, the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed. In view thereof, the petitioners do not wish to press the present petition; the same is consequently disposed of.
