This writ petition has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- a) Allow this petition and issue appropriate writ of mandamus or any other writ/ necessary directions to the respondent no. 1 to declare the marks of the petitioners herein and publish the reserve list as per merit accordingly;

b) Issue appropriate writ of mandamus or any other writ/necessary directions to the respondent no. 2 to consider the candidature of the herein petitioners for appointment to the post of Examiner of Trade Marks and Geographical Indications, as per law, subject to them being found on reserve list so declared by respondent no.1 in order of merit against the vacancies which have already arisen in the Trademark and Geographical Indications Registry."

After canvassing some arguments, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner, on instructions, seeks to withdraw the petition with liberty to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal.
