This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

The present petition has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner-Neha under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus for production of her husband - Mr. Raju, who is stated to be missing since 12th June, 2024.

On 12th July, 2024, considering the nature of the matter and the status report dated 11th July, 2024, filed by the State, the Court had directed the investigating authority to look into the allegations of the Petitioner qua Respondent Nos. 4 to 6.

On 21st August, 2024, this Court had directed that polygraph test of the suspects i.e., Manish Singh, Shashikant Tiwari, Sharad, Vasim, Vijender Gupta, Ishaq and Vishal be conducted by the Forensic Science Laboratory ('FSL').

The Court on 10th December, 2024 observed the following: "5. Today, a status report dated 5th December, 2024, along with the polygraph examination report dated 7th October, 2024 has been handed over in Court. The same is taken on record and has been perused.

6. Considering the fact that there is no further lead in respect of tracing the missing person, the investigation is transferred to the Crime Branch.

7. The present Investigating Officer shall transfer all the relevant records to the Crime Branch Official, who shall then file the further status report by the next date of hearing."

Today, a status report dated 26th February, 2025 authored by Assistant Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch, Delhi has been handed over to the Court. The same has been taken on record.

It is stated in the said status report that investigation has commenced and some more time would be required to trace the Petitioner's husband. 8.

The polygraph tests are stated to have been conducted and they are truthful.

As per the Respondent, there are no further leads in this matter. 10.

Let the investigation continue in this matter. If any further leads are received by the Petitioner, she may give the same to the Investigating Officer (IO).

The IO shall file periodic reports every three months before the concerned Magistrate and shall keep the Petitioner also informed of the progress of the investigation.

The petition is disposed of accordingly. All pending applications, if any, are also disposed of.
