A Petition under Article 226/227 of Constitution of India read with Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed for quashing of FIR No.288/2024 under Section 354/354D/506 IPC registered at P.S. New Ashok Nagar, Delhi.

each other in any manner whatsoever and that the FIR be quashed. 5.

The complainant/respondent No.2 is present in the Court and has admitted that she has made a complaint against the petitioner due to some misunderstanding. The accused/petitioner was known to her for more than last three years. They both are preparing for Civil Services Examination. She further endorsed that the Settlement has been arrived at voluntarily without any fear, force or coercion. The respondent No.2 has no objection if the FIR is quashed against the petitioner on account of the settlement arrived at between them.

In view of the submissions made, the Petition is allowed.

Accordingly, the FIR bearing No. 288/2024 registered at Police Station New Ashok Nagar, for offences punishable under Section 354/354D/506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 with all the subsequent proceedings and the charge sheet is hereby quashed qua the accused/petitioner. 7.

The Petition stands disposed of.
