Common prayer in all the three petitions is that appropriate directions be issued to the learned Trial Court for expeditious disposal of the pending proceedings. Matter was heard yesterday when following order was passed: "
Learned APP points out that the trial is going on in its usual course and no unnecessary adjournments are being granted. Be that as it may, since none appears for the petitioner, in the interest of justice, no adverse order is being passed though the prayer made for passing the directions to expedite the trial seems to be totally misplaced in view of the aforesaid statement of the learned APP. List on 19.08.2025"

Petitioners herein seek expedition of trial pending before the District and Sessions Court, Tis Hazari Courts, New Delhi as the FIR in the matter was lodged way back in 2010 and the charge sheet has already been filed in the year 2017.

On resumed hearing today on the first call learned counsel for the petitioner had appeared through video conference and sought a pass over. In the second call, he once again appeared through video conference, however, he was not audible.

Be that as it may, in view of the aforesaid statement already recorded in the yesterday's order, I find no further grounds to continue with the proceedings before this Court.

The petitions are accordingly disposed of with the expectation that the Trial Court shall proceed with the matter as expeditiously as possible without granting unnecessary adjournments.
