This is fresh Bail application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, filed by the petitioner seeking a further extension of the interim bail, granted by this Court vide the Order dated 05.05.2025 and extended till 04.06.2025, for a period of 4 weeks in FIR No. 639/2024 for offence under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 read with Section 27 of the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has undergone procedure for spinal nerve decompression on 07.06.2025, has shown partial improvement, and requires a further period of four weeks for improvement, thus, his interim bail be extended for the said period.

Issue notice.

The learned APP accepts notice and opposes the bail application, submitting that more than a month has passed since the petitioner underwent the said procedure, and therefore, the petitioner should surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent. 7.
At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner has brought to the notice of this Court a medical Certificate dated 27.06.2025, stating that the petitioner is suffering from weakness of the lower limbs, is unable to stand, and the attending doctor has advised further rest for a period of four weeks, which is set to expire on 27.07.2025. He, thus, submits that in view of the such medical condition of the petitioner, the interim bail granted to the petitioner be extended for a further period of four weeks.

A perusal of the medical certificate dated 27.06.2025 reveals that the petitioner is a follow-up case of post-stab spinal compression, resulting in weakness in the lower limbs and an inability to stand. The petitioner underwent a spinal decompression procedure at AIIMS on 07.06.2025 and has shown partial improvement. In view of the foregoing, the interim bail of the petitioner is extended till 28.07.2025, on the same terms and conditions as contained in Order dated 05.05.2025.

The petitioner to surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent by 4 P.M. on 28.07.2025.

A copy of this Order be sent to the concerned Jail Superintendent for information and necessary compliance. 12.
