This petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India impugns the order dated 9th January, 2018 of the Principal Judge, Family Courts, Shahdara, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi in HMA No.1364/2016 striking off the defence of the petitioner husband for the reason of having not filed the written statement though appearing since 21st January, 2017 and directing the respondent wife to file affidavit by way of evidence in support of her petition for dissolution of her marriage with the petitioner husband. 2.
This petition came up before this Court first on 13th February, 2018 when it was adjourned to 13th March, 2018. On 13th March, 2018, the counsel for the petitioner husband sought adjournment stating that the matter was pending for settlement before the Mediation Centre. 3.
None appears today.
