The Petitioner has approached this Court challenging the Order dated 24.09.2018, passed by the Chief Passport Officer, impounding the passport of the Petitioner herein under Section 10 (3)(c) of the Passports Act, 1967. 2.

On 09.04.2024 this Court directed the learned Counsel for the Respondents to take instructions as to whether the impugned Order can be set aside and the matter be remanded back to the Regional Passport Officer for fresh consideration after taking into account the subsequent events. 3.

Today, learned Counsel for the Respondent has handed-over a copy of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 03/07/2025 at 21:19:21

the e-mail dated 10.05.2024 whereby it is stated that a decision has been taken to set aside the impugned Order and pass fresh orders, if required, in accordance with law.
