The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No.213/2022 registered under Sections 323/354/308/34 IPC and at P.S. South Campus, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes.

The present FIR is an outcome of a matrimonial dispute between petitioner No. 7 (wife) and respondent No.2 (husband) and whereas remaining petitioners and respondent Nos. 3 and 4 are other family members.

Mr. Singh, learned APP for the State submits that in the present case petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent Nos. 2 to 4 are the complainants/victims.

settled their disputes vide Memorandum of Understanding/Settlement Deed dated 28.11.2022 and that petitioner No.7 and respondent No.2 have been living together. In terms of the settlement, respondent Nos.2 to 4 are left with no claim or grievance against the petitioners. 5.

Petitioners, who are present in Court, have been identified by their counsel as well as by I.O./ASI Manmohan, P.S. South Campus. Respondent Nos. 2 to 4, who are also present in Court, have been identified by the I.O. 6.

Respondent Nos. 2 to 4 state that they have settled their disputes with the petitioners of their own free will, volition and without any coercion. They also acknowledge the receipt of entire settled amount and submit that they have no objection in case the FIR is quashed against the petitioners. 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that no other proceedings are pending between the parties.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements and undertaking made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the present criminal proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed.
