(ORAL) 1.

Petitioners are discharged Home-Guards who seek their absorption in suitable Group 'C' and 'D' posts in government departments by relaxing the recruitment rules and 50% reservation in Group 'C' and 'D' posts, as they claim to have specialized training in Disaster Management/Civil Defence. Although petitioners claim to have made various representations in the year 2016 and had approached the Central Administrative Tribunal, New Delhi to seek the relief as sought in this petition, but the Original Application filed before the Central Administrative Tribunal, New Delhi was withdrawn by petitioners due to 'lack of jurisdiction' with liberty to approach this Court. 2.

In the facts and circumstances of this Court, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition with permission to petitioners to W.P.(C) 2075/2018

send a concise Representation to first respondent within a period of three weeks from today and if such Representation is received by first respondent, then it be dealt with by passing a speaking order within a period of twelve weeks and the fate of the Representation be made known to petitioners within a week thereafter, so that petitioners may avail of the remedies as available in law, if need be.

With aforesaid directions, this petition and the application are disposed of.
