This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator by a period of 12 months from 12.06.2025.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to Letter of Acceptance dated 10.05.2016 issued by the Respondent in favour of the Petitioner for the work of Upgradation and face lifting of SHKG Sarvodaya Bala Vidyalaya, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, Petitioner filed a petition under Section 11(6) of 1996 Act in this Court, being ARB.P. 440/2022, which was allowed by order dated 28.03.2023 appointing a Sole Arbitrator. Mandate of the sole Arbitrator was extended by six months upto 12.06.2025, with the consent of the parties on 13.12.2024. arbitral proceedings are at the stage of Claimant's arguments. 3.

Issue notice.

Ms. Richa Dhawan, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Sole Arbitrator. 5.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Learned Sole Arbitrator is extended by a period of 12 months from 13.06.2025. 6.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
