% 31.03.2016 The present petition has been filed against the judgment dated 09.11.2015 passed by the Appellate Court affirming the judgment dated 25.03.2014 and order on sentence dated 16.07.2014 passed by the Trial Court whereby the petitioner/accused was sentenced to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment for a period of four months under Section 498A IPC and to a sentence of fine of Rs.10,000/- for the offence under Section 406 IPC.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. A perusal of the file shows that after dismissal of the appeal, the petitioner has not surrendered and is still absconding from the

legal system.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and gone through the record and find no merit in the instant revision so as to call for interference with the orders passed by the Appellate Court and the Trial Court and the same is accordingly dismissed. P.S.TEJI, J MARCH 31, 2016/dm
