This petition has been filed, under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of an Arbitral Tribunal, which is in seisin of disputes between the parties under a Professional Protect Insurance Policy dated 31.07.2018. 2.

The mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal was extended by order dated 09.01.2024 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 679/2023 for six months until 08.07.2024. The award has since been reserved. 3.

Mr. Trinath, learned counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice, and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.
