Review Pet.504/2016 This Review Petition has been filed by the petitioner. Learned counsel for
the petitioner seeks review to the extent that it may be clarified that the order dated 21.07.2016 would not come in the way of the petitioner should the petitioner seek his remedy under Rule 41 of the CCS(Pension) Rules in seeking compassionate allowance.

We have heard the learned counsel for the parties. Having regard to the submissions made, we clarify that should the petitioner make a petition for compassionate allowance under Rule 41 of the CCS(Pension) Rules, the said petition would be decided in accordance with the law and the order passed by this Court dated 21.07.2016 would not stand in the way of the petitioner.
