The petitioner seeks quashing of Punishment Ticket dated 23.07.2024 and his release on furlough.

At the very outset, learned ASC appearing on advance intimation submits that the competent authority has already rejected the request of the petitioner for grant of furlough, but that order of the competent authority has not been sought to be set aside. However, it is also submitted by learned ASC that the furlough rejection order was dated 07.06.2024, therefore, now the petitioner can apply afresh instead of continuing with this incomplete petition.
