This petition has been filed for quashing for FIR No. 115/2018 registered at PS Farsh Bazar under Sections 135 & 150 of the Electricity Act, 2003 on the basis of settlement arrived at between the parties dated 16th February, 2024 before the Trial Court.

Trial Court records the statement of the accused as well as complainant company that the liability of Rs. 5 lacs has now been settled. 3.

This fact is confirmed by counsel for complainant, BSES (respondent no.2) who appears through VC.

Considering the above settlement between the parties, nothing further survives in the said FIR, and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 115/2018 under Sections 135 & 150 of the Electricity Act registered at PS Farsh Bazar and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 6.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
