This is a writ petition seeking grant of second spell of furlough for a period of two weeks in case FIR No. 139/2004 under Sections 302/186/201/392/120B/34 IPC, PS-Mangol Puri and FIR No. 119/2004 under Sections 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS-Shalimar Bagh. 2.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner had surrendered after the first spell of furlough on 17.06.2025 and applied for second spell of furlough on 03.07.2025 on the ground that he needs to perform certain rites and ceremonies on the death anniversary of his wife on 10.07.2025.

any time is left for the disposal of application. However, he assures that he would request the competent authorities to take up the application of the petitioner on priority and dispose of the same by 08.07.2025. 4.
In terms of statement made by learned Standing Counsel, the petition is disposed of with direction to the competent authority to dispose of the pending application of the petitioner filed on 03.07.2025 for grant of second spell of furlough by 08.07.2025.
