W.P.(CRL) 2108/2024 By way of the present petition filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India read with section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973, the petitioners seek a direction to respondents Nos. 1 and 2 to take action against respondents Nos. 3 and 4 pursuant to complaint dated 27.03.2024, that is stated to have been addressed to respondents Nos. 1 and 2 and has been received by speed post on 01.04.2024.

Mr. Praveen Suri, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that if a direction to the above effect is issued, the petitioners would not press any further prayers in the present petition. 3.

Learned counsel appears on behalf of Mr. Sanjeev Bhandari, learned ASC (Criminal) for respondents Nos. 1 and 2 on advance copy; accepts notice; and submits that they do not wish to file a formal response in the matter; and that the complaint received from the petitioners is pending consideration before the Deputy Commissioner of Police/respondent No.2.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed-of, without calling upon respondents Nos. 3 and 4 to file any response in the matter; however with a direction to respondents Nos. 1 and 2 to dispose-of complaint dated 27.03.2024 made by the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible and in any event within 03 weeks, in accordance with law, under written intimation to the petitioners as well as to counsel appearing for them.
