By way of present petition, the petitioners seek directions to the trial court for early disposal of the case arising out of FIR No.337/2019, registered under Sections 376/354 IPC at P.S. Prashant Vihar, Rohini, Delhi. 2.

During the course of submissions, learned counsels for the parties submit that the matter is at the stage of prosecution evidence and that the prosecutrix has already been examined. It is further informed that till date only 2 out of 16 witnesses have been examined. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in the present case, the prosecutrix has levelled allegations against her in-laws. 4.

Considering that the FIR pertains to the year 2019 and that 5 years have passed and only formal witnesses remain to be examined, the trial court shall make an endeavour to expedite the trial and conclude the same within The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. one year from the next date of hearing.

The petitioners/accused shall also be at liberty to move an application for advancement of the date fixed before the trial court, which is stated to be 26.11.2024. In case the date is advanced, the concerned I.O. shall ensure that necessary steps are taken for summoning of the witnesses. 6.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of alongwith the pending application.
