% 11.09.2017 It is submitted that matter has been settled between the respondent no. 2 and son of the petitioner no. 1 amicably, therefore, FIR No.288/2011 under Sections 498-A/406 IPC registered at police station North Rohini on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed. Petitioner no. 2 is the daughter-in-law of the petitioner no. 1. It is noted that FIR qua the son of petitioner no. 1 and also against the husband of petitioner no. 1 has already been quashed pursuant to the settlement, by this Court vide order dated 8th November, 2013 passed in Crl. M.C. no. 4709/2013 titled Rahul Pratap and Another vs. State and Anr. Respondent no. 2 is staying in Dubai. She is
represented through her mother, who also holds a General Power of Attorney in her favour, which has been placed on record. Mrs. Simmi Arora, Attorney of respondent no. 2 is present in Court and says that she has instructions from her daughter that the matter has already been settled; therefore, respondent no. 2 has no objection in case FIR qua the petitioner is also quashed. It is noted that marriage between the son of petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent on 26th April, 2013 passed by the Family Courts - 03, Rohini Courts, Delhi. Keeping in view of the above facts and circumstances, as narrated above, in the interest of justice, FIR No.288/2011 under Sections 498-A/406 IPC registered at police station North Rohini and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, qua the petitioners, are also quashed.
