O R D E R

% 16.02.2016 Ms Nandita Rao, learned Addl. Standing Counsel (Crl.) has handed over a status report in court today. The same is taken on record. A perusal of the same reveals that Yasmeen aged about 20 years, the daughter of the petitioner, is slated to marry on 21.02.2016 with one Haider S/o Nasir R/o Ahmadabad, Gujarat. The status report further reveals that the address furnished by the petitioner has been verified and is found to be correct. In view of the foregoing Ms Nandita Rao, learned Addl. Standing Counsel (Crl.) appearing on behalf of the official respondent states that on humanitarian grounds they would not oppose the present petition seeking a direction to the competent authority to release the petitioner on parole in order to enable him to finance, organise and attend the wedding of his daughter Yasmeen.

Consequently, the present petition is allowed. The petitioner is enlarged on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial court subject to the following conditions:- (i) During the period the petitioner remains out on parole, he

shall report to the SHO, Police Station- Turkman Gate, Delhi once a week on every Thursday.

(ii) The petitioner shall also provide the SHO of the concerned Police Station with his mobile telephone number which he undertakes to keep operational. (iii) He shall not leave the jurisdiction of the NCT of Delhi without the prior permission of this Court.

(iv) Lastly, the petitioner shall surrender before the jail authorities at the expiry of the period of parole. With the above direction the writ petition is allowed and disposed of accordingly.

A copy of this order be given dasti under signature of Court Master to counsel for the parties.
