Learned counsel for respondent submits that as per the instructions received from the Department, the appeal filed by the petitioner under Section 57 of Motor Vehicle Act, 1988, has already been decided by the Transport Department on 16.07.2024. This decision is in terms of the specific directions given by the learned Coordinate Bench of this Court on 24.04.2024 in WP(C) no. 5690/2024. It seems that somehow, the petitioner is still unaware about the fact that the appeal has already been decided. 2.
As per the above said decision, the appeal of the petitioner/appellant has been dismissed.

A copy of the such order has been shown during the course of hearing and is directed to be taken on record.

Learned counsel for respondent also undertakes to send soft copy of such order to Mr. Chauhan, learned counsel for petitioner, through e-mail/whatsapp during the course of the day. Let it be done. In view of the above, nothing further survives in the matter. The contempt petition is, accordingly, disposed of. 6.
Needless to say, in case, the appellant/petitioner is aggrieved by the above said order dated 16.07.2024, he is always at liberty to take further action as permissible under law.
