In terms of the statement made before this Court on 14.05.2024, the concerned DCP (HQ) (Legal Division) has filed an affidavit thereby stating that a fresh circular being Circular No.01/2024 has been issued qua the timely filing of Status Reports in the form of affidavits. The affidavit further states that the concerned DCsP/District/Unit have been asked to brief and sensitize ACsP/SHOs/I.O.s to ensure compliance with Circular No.02/2022 and Circular No.01/2024. Copy of the circular has also been placed on record.

Learned APP for the State has handed over a copy of the aforesaid affidavit, which is taken on record.
