Appellant has filed an appeal for enhancement of the award dated 27.07.2022 passed by the learned MACT awarding compensation of Rs.15,52,636.96 along with interest @ 9% from the date of filing of the claim petition.

After comprehensive discussion, it is agreed between the parties that the appellant(s) shall get enhanced amount of Rs.2,25,000/- as lump sum compensation over and above the award of the learned Tribunal as full and final compensation. Ld. Counsel for the appellant submits that enhancement amount be released.

In view of the above, the Insurance Company is directed to deposit the said enhanced amount within 06 weeks from today before the Registrar The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 03/07/2025 at 02:22:41
General of this Court failing which it shall carry interest @ 9% p.a. on the delayed deposit. The said amount be released to the appellant(s)/claimant(s) as per the proportion of the Award subject to fulfilment of the requisite formalities.
