This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator by a period of 12 months with effect from 12.06.2025.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to a Letter of Acceptance dated 29.01.2016 issued by the Respondent in favour of the Petitioner for execution of the work of Construction/Creation of Additional Academic Block for Secondary Classes in SHKG Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya at Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, Petitioner filed a petition under Section 11(6) of 1996 Act in this Court, being ARB.P. 469/2022 for appointment of Arbitrator, which was allowed on 28.03.2023, appointing a Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties. It is averred that on 13.12.2024, mandate of the Learned Arbitrator was extended for six months O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 516/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. with the consent of the parties, which expired on 12.06.2025. The arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments and hence extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator is sought.

Mr. Aditya Chopra, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Sole Arbitrator. 5.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Learned Sole Arbitrator is extended by a period of 12 months from 13.06.2025. 6.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
