This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.71/2018, PS Farsh Bazar. under Sections 135 & 150 of the Electricity Act,2003 on the basis of a settlement arrived at on 16th February, 2024 before ASJ. An amount of Rs.17 Lacs has been paid to respondent No.2/BSES, which is confirmed by the counsel for BSES, who appears through VC. 2.

In view of the same, there is no objection to the said FIR being quashed.

Considering the above settlement between parties and the chances of conviction of petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of Court and an unnecessary burden on State exchequer. Accordingly, thepetition is allowed. Consequently, FIR No.71/2018, PS Farsh Bazar, under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by terms of settlement.

Accordingly, petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
