% 15.11.2019 Vide this petition, the petitioner is seeking direction for regional passport office for renewal of the passport bearing no. H8337864 of the petitioner Siva Rama Krishna Mulpuru, which is going to expire on 26.04.2020.

Learned counsel for CBI/respondent no.1 states that she has no objection to the same. It is further pointed out that the Passport is lying with Regional Passport Authority at Hyderabad and it has to renew the passport. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has gone abroad several times and has returned back. There is an order dated 04.04.2014 passed by the learned predecessor of this court to the effect that whenever the petitioner intends to go abroad, he has to deposit a sum of Rs.

50 lakhs as bank guarantee. This fact is not disputed by learned counsel for the CBI/respondent no.1.

No one has appeared on behalf of respondent no.2, despite being served dasti. An affidavit of the petitioner to this effect has also been placed on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has prayed that direction be issued to the Regional Passport Authority, Hyderabad for renewal of the passport of the petitioner.

Heard. In view of the above submissions, Chief Regional Passport Officer/concerned Passport Officer of Regional Passport Authority, Hyderabad is directed to renew the passport of the petitioner Siva Rama Krishna Mulpuru, as per rules.

The petition stands disposed of in above terms. Copy of this order be given dasti as prayed.
