This is a petition filed under section 29 A (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal for a period of six months.

It is stated that the respondent's counsel is in the process of addressing final arguments. However the same cannot be concluded due to some medical emergency.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

For the said reasons, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal is extended by a period of six months to make and publish the arbitral award. 10.
