Present public interest petition has been filed seeking issuance of directions to the respondents to remove the encroachment on public land/road/footpath at Khanna Market, Tis Hazari, Delhi -110054. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner enrolled as an Advocate in 2018 and started his practice in Tis Hazari Courts and thereafter he faced difficulties on account of encroachment by shopkeepers of the Khanna Market, Tis Hazari, Delhi on the footpath and road by putting their goods and articles.

He states that the petitioner has made a complaint on 27th June, 2024 for removal of unauthorized encroachment on footpath/road and change of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Keeping in view the aforesaid, this Court disposes of the present writ petition with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, MCD of the concerned zone to decide the petitioner's representation dated 27th June, 2024 as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law. If some requisite action is required to be taken, the same shall be taken by the MCD in accordance with law.
