Abhishek Srivastava, learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 1 submits, that the parties have settled the matter in terms of Settlement Agreement dated 05.03.2025 arrived at through mediation before the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre.

A copy of the settlement agreement has been filed on record. 3.

Learned counsel for the appellant concurs with the submission. 4.

Accordingly, counsel for the parties jointly pray, that in accordance with the terms of the settlement, out of the total sum deposited by the appellants in compliance of order dated 13.10.2023, the sum of Rs. 27 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Counsel for the appellants further clarifies, that the amount to be released to the appellants, be remitted to appellant No.1, who will receive the amount for herself as well as on behalf of all the other appellants.

The appellants also pray for refund of the court-fees affixed on the memo of appeal.

Counsel for the parties submit, that appeal be disposed-of in terms of the settlement.

In view of the above submissions, and as per the terms agreed upon by the parties, the Registry is directed to release the sum of Rs.27 lacs (out of the total amount lying deposited in the matter) in favour of respondent No.1, after verifying his credentials, within 02 weeks of respondent No.1 approaching the Registry for the purpose. 9.

The balance amount lying deposited alongwith interest accrued, be released in favour of the appellants, through appellant No.1, who will receive the money on behalf of all the appellants, after verifying her credentials.

Furthermore, as prayed for by the appellants, and in accordance with section 16-A of the Court Fees Act 1860 (as applicable to Delhi), 50% of the court fee affixed on the memo of appeal be refunded to the appellants. The Registry is directed to draw-up the requisite certificate in favour of appellant No.1 for refund of half of the court fee, within 02 weeks of the appellant No.1 approaching the Registry for the purpose.

The appeal is disposed-of in the above terms, holding the parties bound by the terms of the settlement.
