This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.294/2024 PS Maidan Garhi under Sections 288/337/304A IPC on grounds of settlement arrived at between the parties dated 11th July, 2024. As per the settlement, the petitioners are paying Rs.7,50,000/- to the father of the deceased (respondent No.4) and Rs.1,35,000/- to respondent No.3 who was also injured in the same incident. While the amounts of Rs.2,50,000/- and Rs.35,000/- have been respectively paid, the balance amount of Rs.5 Lacs and Rs.1 Lac is being paid to respondent Nos.4 and 3 respectively and has been handed over in Court vide DD Nos.555708 & 555709 dated 16th July, 2024 drawn on State Bank of India. All parties are present in Court today as well as counsel for the respondents, and duly identified by the IO. Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.294/2024 PS Maidan Garhi under Sections 288/337/304A IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 4.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
