The petitioner in W.P.(C) No.594/2016 is the appellant before us. The said writ petition was filed seeking a direction to the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) not to interfere with the vending activities of the petitioner at Entry Gate No.1 of AIIMS. The learned Single Judge, by the order under appeal granted liberty to the petitioner to apply to the Town Vending Committee for redressal of his grievance. 2.
In the present appeal, it was pleaded before us that the Town Vending Committees as provided under the Delhi Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 were not constituted and, therefore, the appellant/writ petitioner was left with no remedy.

When the matter is taken up today for consideration, it is brought to our notice by Shri Sanjoy Ghose, the learned ASC appearing for GNCTD that by order dated 04.05.2016 passed by the Department of Urban Development, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, a Town Vending Committee has been constituted in respect of New Delhi Municipal Council. The said order has been placed before us and a copy has also been furnished to the learned counsel for the appellant.

Now that the Town Vending Committee has been constituted, the appellant/writ petitioner is at liberty to apply to the said Committee in terms of the liberty granted in the order under appeal. 5.
The appeal is accordingly disposed of.
