By way of the present application, the petitioner/applicant seeks leave to withdraw the petition in terms of settlement having been arrived at between the parties under 'Vivad se Vishwas II (Contractual Disputes) Scheme'.

Learned counsel for the respondent appears and also acknowledges the same.

In view of the settlement, learned CGSC for the petitioner seeks further directions to release the amount deposited by it in pursuance of the order dated 17.08.2022 towards the principal amount as well as interest component under the impugned order.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that he has no objection to the same.

Accordingly, the Registry shall release the aforesaid amount alongwith the interest accrued thereupon within a period of one week from today.

For the reasons stated in the present application and in view of the above, leave, as prayed for, is granted and the petition is permitted to be withdrawn.

In view of the above, the application stands disposed of. O.M.P. (COMM) 1/2022 1.

In view of the order passed in I.A. 6466/2025, the present petition stands disposed of.
