In compliance of the directions issued by this Court on the last date of hearing, the Trial Court has sent a status report indicating that en-bloc dates for recording the testimonies of the prosecution witnesses could not be given due to an oversight of the order dated 1st October, 2024. counsel for the accused persons also did not apprise the Trial Court of the directions issued by this Court on 1st October, 2024. 2.
Nonetheless, the Trial Court advanced the hearing and en-bloc dates of 22nd February, 2025, 24th February, 2025 and 25th February, 2025, were fixed. 19 witnesses have been examined so far, including the material witnesses. As per the Trial Court, the trial is likely to be concluded in another five to six months.

In light of the above development, counsel for the Petitioners state that they would like to withdraw the present petitions and seek liberty to apply again, in case the trial is not concluded within the timelines specified by the Trial Court in the said status report furnished to this Court. 4.
In light of the foregoing, the present petitions are dismissed as withdraw with liberty to the Petitioners to re-apply, in case the trial is not concluded within the above timelines indicated by the Trial Court and the said delay is not attributable to the Petitioners.
