Heard the learned counsel for parties.

By way of this Public Interest Litigation petition,two issues have been raised: firstly, that there are certain encroachments on two land parcels The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. earmarked for graveyard and burial/cremation ground admeasuring 4000 sq. mts., as per Layout Plan of the JJ Scheme,adjoining Western Yamuna Canal, Pocket-I, JJ Colony, Bawana, Sector G-8; and secondly, that certain green land is proposed to be changed for use as 'graveyard and burial/cremation' ground.

So far as the first issue is concerned, a perusal of an email communication dated 03rd June 2025 (which is available at page 52 of the Writ Petition) shows that the matter regarding removal of encroachment on graveyard and burial/cremation ground has been taken up with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).

Thus, we direct that necessary action in that regard shall be taken by concerned authorities expeditiously.

As regards the other issue, we may only observe that no final decision has yet been taken and, therefore, as per averment made by petitioner, since the matter is still at the proposal stage, no interference by this Court on the said issue is called for.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 7.

Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. 8.
