Accordingly, this application stands disposed of. CRL.M.(BAIL) 236/2025 3.

This is an application filed seeking extension of interim suspension of sentence for a period of three (3) weeks to enable the Appellant to apply and appear before the Interview Board for his minor daughter's school admission. In addition to obtain caste certificate for the minor daughter. 4.

In view of the averments made in the application, Mr. Anuj Aggarwal, learned Additional Standing counsel was requested to assist this Court with respect to the requirement of presence of parents before the Interview Board for the admission of the 3 1⁄2 years old child. 5.

Mr. Aggarwal states that as per the prevailing rules and procedure, there is no requirement for the parents of the child to appear before any Interview Board.

The said statement is taken on record.

In view of the said submission of the learned standing counsel, learned counsel for the Appellant withdraws the said ground of appearing before the Interview Board.

Learned counsel for the Appellant states on instructions that Appellant that he seeks limited relief of extension of the suspension of sentence for period of one (1) week, to enable the Appellant to apply for a caste certificate for the minor daughter. He states that otherwise the Appellant is due to surrender on 06.02.2025.

In view of the above, the Appellant's interim extension of sentence is extended until 12.02.2025 as a one-time measure. 10.

Learned counsel states on instructions from the Appellant, who is present in Court, that the Appellant will surrender on or before 12.02.2025. 11.

With the aforesaid directions, the application stands disposed of. 12.

A copy of the order be sent to the Jail Superintendent for information and necessary compliance.
