This petition is filed seeking quashing of FIRNo.411/2022PS Badapur under Sections 354A/509 IPC on the ground of settlement arrived at between the parties by virtue of MOU dated 6th July 2024, which is on record of this Court.

Petitioner and respondent no.,2/complainant are present in the court and are duly identified by the IO.

Respondent no.2 states that she does not want to pursue these proceedings any further as she has resolved her issue with petitioner and has no objection to quashing of the FIR.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.411/2022 PS Badapur under Sections 354A/509 IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 6.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of along with pending application.
