CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE NAVIN CHAWLA HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE RENU BHATNAGAR NAVIN CHAWLA, J. (Oral) 1.

This petition has been filed challenging the order dated 19.02.2025 passed by the learned Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi (hereinafter referred to as, 'the Tribunal') in O.A. 4014/2024 titled as 'Shaista Siddiqui v. Delhi Waqf Board'. 2.

The limited grievance of the petitioner is that the learned Tribunal, while listing the O.A. for final hearing on 09.07.2025, has not granted the interim relief as prayed for by the petitioner herein. 3.

We are informed that on 09.07.2025, the learned Tribunal has now adjourned the hearing of the O.A. to 09.09.2025. We are further informed that the petitioner has, in fact, till date not filed the rejoinder therein to the counter affidavit filed by the respondent. 4.

The learned counsel for the respondent submits that the WP(C) 9440/2025 Signed By:PRIYADARSHANI JAIN 18:03:28

respondent has a valid defense to offer, even qua the prayer of the petitioner seeking release of arrears of salary. 5.

Keeping in view that it is the petitioner who has not filed the rejoinder till date before the learned Tribunal, and the prayer in the interim is the same as the main prayer, we deem it appropriate to not entertain the present petition at this stage, but instead request the learned Tribunal to not adjourn the O.A. further on 09th September, 2025, and hear the same finally, even if the petitioner does not choose to file a rejoinder therein.

6.

The petition, along with pending applications, if any, is disposed of in the above terms.
