The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking the limited relief that the respondent no.3 / District Magistrate (East), L. M. Bandh, Shastri Nagar, Delhi, be directed to dispose of the complaint filed by the petitioner under Chapter V of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 read with the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009.

It is submitted that the petitioner's complainant bearing Case No.782/2023 has been pending for more than two years. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondent no.3, who appears on advance notice, submits that the aforesaid complaint of the petitioner shall be decided by the concerned learned District Magistrate within a period of four weeks from today. 4.
