% 12.02.2016 The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide information regarding the medical record of the petitioner from the year 2005 to 2008 in compliance with the CIC's order dated 27th July, 2011.

It has been averred in the writ petition that the petitioner was forcibly admitted to a mental ward by the respondents' officials on 19th October, 2008 for ten days even though he was mentally fit. The CIC vide order dated 27th July, 2011 directed the respondents to provide the relevant medical records to the petitioner within eight weeks. However, it is stated that the respondents failed to provide the information sought by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner sent various reminders and representations, but to no avail. However, in the opinion of this Court, a writ Court is not an

executing Court of the orders passed by the CIC. In the event of noncompliance of CIC orders, penalties have been prescribed in Section 20 of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

Consequently, present writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to avail remedies under the Right to Information Act, 2005 in accordance with law.
