The Petitioner seek vague prayers that the Police be directed to save their life and liberty. Petitioners state that they got married with each other against the wishes of father of Petitioner No. 1, who has since been threatening her over the phone.

Undisputedly, the Police is duty bound to save the life and liberty of every citizen of this city. The petitioners are at liberty to make a call at 100 number or to speak to the concerned Beat Officer as and when they feel any threat to their life and liberty. The Petitioner No. 1 is also at liberty to block the phone number of her father if she does not wish to speak to him. 3.

No orders can be passed in that regard.

that the petitioners have never approached the Beat Officer and they are at liberty to visit the Police Station as and when they feel and threat to their life and liberty. In addition, he states that as and when they approach the Police Station, the Beat Officer would provide his phone number and they will be at liberty to call on the said number in case of any threat to their life and liberty.
