This is a joint petition filed on behalf of the Petitioner and Respondent under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator by a period of 9 months.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to Agreement dated 14.02.2019 pertaining to 'Construction of 30 Nos. Additional SPS hostel rooms and 2 Nos. Staircase i/c internal and external water supply i/c sanitary installation, development of site and fire fighting system and provision of EI & Fans and other misc. works at KISS Issapur, New Delhi', Sole Arbitrator was appointed by the Respondent and arbitral proceedings commenced.

It is averred that with the mutual consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitrator was extended by a further period of six months upto O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 521/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. 20.06.2025 and pleadings stand completed. Further extension is sought for nine months to enable the Arbitrator to conclude the proceedings. 4.

Mr. Bharat Singh Sisodia, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Arbitrator. 6.
Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by a period of 9 months from 21.06.2025. 7.
Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
