Vide the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner who is working as an ASI Communications in the Border Security Force seeks to assail the order dated 07.06.2024 vide which he has been transferred from 95th Battalion, BSF, Bhondsi, Gurugram to 22nd Battalion, Tura Sector, Meghalaya.

the petitioner would be satisfied in case the respondents permit the petitioner's family to retain the government accommodation allotted to him in Gurugram till 30.04.2025.

Mr. Farman Ali, learned counsel appearing on advance notice on behalf of the respondents on instructions submits that taking into account that the petitioner's daughter is studying in Class XII, the respondents are agreeable to permit the petitioner's family to occupy till 30.04.2025 the government accommodation allotted to him at Gurugram. 6.

In the light of the aforesaid stand taken by the parties, the writ petition is disposed of by taking on record the respondents' statement that the petitioner's family will be permitted to occupy till 30.04.2025 the government accommodation allotted to him at Gurugram and directing the petitioner to join at his new place of posting at 22nd Battalion, Tura Sector, Meghalaya in terms of the relieving order issued to him on 17.07.2024.
