Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner submits that the matter has been settled between the parties, and the Petitioner has agreed to pay Rs. 2 lakhs to the Respondent/Workman in final settlement of claims of the Respondent/Workman.

Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner submits that since the matter between the parties stands settled, nothing survives for further adjudication in the matter. It is further submitted that in pursuance to the Settlement, the Petitioner through his Counsel has handed over a cheque The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. bearing No. 004715 dated 19.07.2024 of the value of Rs. 2 lakhs to the Respondent/Workman, who is physically present in the Court today. 4.1 Learned Counsel for the Petitioner undertakes that the cheque shall be honoured on presentation.

The Respondent/Workman appearing in person, identified by his Counsel, in reply to a specific Court query, affirms the above-mentioned Settlement and that he has signed the settlement of his own accord without any duress or coercion. He further submits that during the course of the proceedings, he has received the cheque for a sum of Rs. 2 lakhs. 6.
The Respondent/Workman affirms that this payment is accepted in full and final settlement of all his disputes with the Petitioner and that he will withdraw the pending litigation between him and the Petitioner once the payment has been released.

The parties are directed to abide by the terms of the Settlement. 8.
Subject to the realisation of the aforesaid amount, the Petition stands disposed of. All pending Applications stand closed. 9.
